It's a proven fact that having a list, or chart, to help you keep track of what you need to do can help you stay on task and get more done. This is particularly true for children, who find it helpful having something to reference when doing their chores.

We have created a series of utilities that allow you to create "chorecharts". When creating this chart, we tried to keep in mind what would be important on this type of chart, and specifically to a large family. In addition, we added graphical references too, since having a picture to go along with the task is helpful for everyone, but particularly for young children. We have tried to provide a wide variety of "categories", but since we could not cover every area, you will note that we simply included some neutral picture, such as refrigerator which could mean literally cleaning out the fridge or in a broader sense mean cleaning the kithchen.

These charts are not only for kids. Make one for your husband so he knows what to do on Saturday afternoon. Make one for yourself to help keep organized. Let the kids help make charts...they may actually want to do chores!

This program creates a ONE-TIME chart; it will not be saved. When you are finishing entering the information, click the create button and you will be taken to a different page with your chart. Simply print it off. If you need to make changes, use the Back button on your browser to return to this utility page.

The chart starts with 10 items. Don't worry if you don't use them all, it will only print out the ones you fill-in. If you need more, you can add 5 more lines at a time.
