Thank you for visiting the Lotsofkids Community! This small social network is an extension of our popular forum community. Here our visitors can create a profile page and connect with others, much like on Facebook and other similar websites.
Some of the things you can do at LOKC:
• Create a profile page telling the community about yourself.
• Make and add friends.
• Comment on other user’s pages, including using colorful comment graphics.
• Post pictures of your family.
• Share links to videos, etc.
This system is a bit like Facebook, a bit like Twitter, and a bit its own thing. It may take a bit to get used to it, but be assured, after a bit of playing around it’s pretty easy. Of course, if you have any questions at all, visit our User’s Forum. During the first couple of weeks, our tech gurus will be there to answer question and offer any assistance they can.
A quick note–this community is powered by Buddypress, which is an extension of WordPress. So, if you if you try to log-in and get a WordPress page, don’t worry, you’re in the right place.
New accounts:
All accounts are registered through our LOK forums. To create a new account, please visit this page. If you are already a member of our forums, to set up your profile page, log-in normally through the forum system first. In your Control Center there will be a link to “create community page”. Simply click it and you’ll be ready to set up your page here. Note at this time the systems are separate, so if you get logged off of the community, simply log-in here through the box on the sidebar.
